GEELONG MULTISPORT FESTIVAL - 12th February 2012
Melbourne may have not got much rain over the weekend, but it poured rain almost non stop in Geelong before the sun finally came out on Sunday afternoon after most of us had finished racing.
Despite the weather, USM organised a fantastic event. The water at Geelong was completely flat but the bike leg was pretty windy (& slippery) and apparently the run leg was quite hilly.
Chris's Ironman prospects look good after his great effort in the Long Course race. Martin and Bill had a great tussle in the Olympic Distance race and it was good to see Elaine back racing her first Olympic Distance in 4 years.

For those wondering about Rob's DNF, he crashed at the 25km mark of the bike leg. After spending 5 minutes being patched up he finished the ride but was too injured to even attempt the run. Hopefully he'll be back training within a week.
