To be eligible to set a club record or take out any Taylormade awards you must be a financial member of Taylormade Triathlon Club. The committee has the right to refuse an award or record if circumstances require.

CLUB RECORDS

Setting a club record is no mean feat. We have had some exceptional triathletes over the years but, despite this, every year our members continue to raise the bar just that little bit higher. On breaking any established club record members are presented with a certificate in recognition of their achievement. Our current club records can be accessed here.

CLUB CHAMPION

Every summer the Taylormade Club Championships are held over the sprint distance. This gives us the opportunity of our very own wave start allowing us to directly compete against each other! In the spirit of the club, both male & female Club Champions are decided on a handicap basis, therefore anyone can win regardless of their finishing position on the day! The Bruce Burston Award for Participation & Improvement

Named after a stalwart of the Taylormade Triathlon Club and the running coach from hell, Bruce Burston, this award recognises individuals who strive to be the best they can be. This award goes to the athlete who attends the most (and varied) amounts of training days over the year. It also recognises Personal Bests, when that athlete competes in either triathlons or duathlons. A runner up medal is also presented. The Brad Boag Excellence Award

Named after the inaugural winner of the award and gun triathlete, Brad Boag, this award recognises excellence in race day performance. In every race an athlete competes in over the year, they are awarded points based on their performance versus a standardised table that considers race distance, age and sex. The athlete who scores the highest total over the 12 months will win this award. A runner up medal is also presented. Current and past winners of the Brag Boag Award can be accessed here.

Taylormade Life Members

A club such as Taylormade does not run itself. There are individuals who contribute copious amounts of their personal time, both at regular training sessions and behind the scenes, to ensure the smooth running of the club. This award recognises those who have exceptionally contributed to the club, building it into what it is today. The Taylormade Life Member page can be accessed here.
