... a word from the president

Welcome to the Taylormade website, I would like to thank Rob Douglas, Sally Ham, Susan MacLeavy, Jeff Steven, Bruce Burston and Nicole Merlich for their sterling efforts on last years committee.

 

I am looking forward to working with our new committee of Bruce Burston, Martin Durkin, Clare Morris, Elaine Handley, Rob McNamara and Sean Durkin.

 

Bruce Burston has already secured club rooms for training and meeting point at Fern St, Black Rock. I think we will all appreciate the present Wednesday night training sessions and meeting for our Sunday rides. It beats changing in public toilet block. Great work, Bruce

 

Jeff Steven is doing a fantastic looking after the website. Each time I look at it, there are new photographs, articles and news on the website.

 

The coaches are the heart of the club and without their hard work; the club would be a poorer place. I would like to thank Sally Ham, Bruce Burston and Corey Adkins for their efforts in organising the training session and all their useful advice.

 

Finally the life blood of Taylormade is our members. Our members are supportive, friendly and always ready to lend a hand. I would like to thank the support of our members for volunteering for the Taylormade Brooks Duathlon, Go Tri It Kids triathlon and various events during the year.

 

To all existing and potential triathletes who are looking for a club to train hard with a sense of fun, enjoying brunch after training or just getting fitter in a group environment. I would recommend coming down to aTaylormade training session and joining our club. We cater for the serious triathlete to the beginner attempting their first triathlon.
